Itinerary

Day 1: Uros Floating Islands & Llachon

The Llachon Homestay Tour begins at 6:45 AM, with the first stop at the famous Uros Floating Islands, a group of more than 70 handmade floating islands inhabited by the Uros, an ethnic group of fishermen descended from one of the region's most ancestral cultures.
After this magical experience, we depart toward Llachon, the heart of this homestay tour on the Capachica Peninsula.
After lunch in Llachon, hike up to the top of the mountain to admire the shores of Lake Titicaca and watch the sunset over the water, before returning for dinner and an overnight stay with your host family.

Day 2: Taquile Island

After breakfast at 8:00 AM, head to the harbor to board the boat toward Taquile Island, enjoying spectacular views of Lake Titicaca along the way.
A long, gradually ascending path leads up to the village, with unique views that make every step of the walk worthwhile.
A roughly 30-minute hike brings you to the local communal cooperative, where you'll find high-quality handmade textiles, and your guide will explain everything about Taquile's unique weaving traditions.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before descending back toward the harbor to return to Puno, bringing the Llachon Homestay Tour to a close.
