Pallay Punchu  is a stunning rainbow mountain famous for its sharp, colorful ridges shaped like an Andean poncho. Located between Cusco and Puno, it can be visited either on the way to Cusco or on the way to Puno, making it a perfect addition to your southern Peru journey.

From Cusco to Puno or viceversa takes about 7 hours visiting Pallay Punchu on the way will take us about 11 hours includingn the hiking time. If you do this on the way you save time to visit other places.

We must depart from Cusco or Puno at 7:00am latest time to arrive to Cusco or Puno by 6:00pm. along the way we will stop at La Raya mountain pass and to have box lunch.
